In October 2017, the City of Vancouver announced that it was building 78 temporary modular homes at the Pearson-Dogwood site in Marpole. The announcement was met with significant opposition from resident groups.

In November, we ran an email campaign through our letter generator. 117 people used the tool let the City know that, despite the opposition, homes must be built for those who desperately need them.

The homes have now been completed, and the first residents moved in February 2018.
